Learn with Matt Gregory

My name is Matt Gregory and I’m based near Bath in Somerset but mostly you will find me on the rivers Nadder and Wylye, fly fishing for trout and grayling.

Over 40 years ago my Dad took me fly fishing for trout on a small lake and I was hooked. My journey went from small lakes, to reservoirs, then to rivers and then on to chalk streams.

I primarily teach people how to catch trout and grayling in chalk streams but also provide instruction in stillwater fly fishing as well. I’m a qualified casting instructor with Fly Fishers International. They are an American based organisation with instructors all over the world.

I offer casting lessons and guiding services to those of you who would like learn more about this amazing sport.
